Rules and Guidelines

Here on this site we have one major rule. NO GOD MODDING. This is not tolerated at all. To prevent this I've come up with a ranking system that makes it fair game for anyone. Every rank has another rank within it based on D-SS ranking. Genin's can be SS and can be more powerful than a jounin could ever dream to be. The ranks Genin - Kage are worthless. Think of them as a title. The ranks D-SS are everything. These ranks define what you can learn and what you can actually do.

The basic format for shinobi is simple. D ranked shinobi are the drop outs or the weaker ninja. C ranked shinobi are those who have latent potential and are still learning. B ranked is a regular ranked shinobi for their rank, A rank is their special cases or those with talents who would be considered genius's, and S rank in their rank are the Elite and the highest of their ranks.

D Ranked Genin - These are the lowest ranking genin and usually are no threat in combat. They are usually used for back up on missions and are usually the weakest in their team. Though weak do not underestimate them for that because they can be intelligent due to their position and ability to see every move you make. By themselves they can stall C and B rank ninja's. In a team they can stall A and S rank ninja with team work. These ninja tend to be troublesome in large numbers.

D Ranked Chuunin - These are the lower ranking chuunin. They are usually used in missions that require a look out. They don't do much combat but are versed in one of the three basic fighting skills. Some of these chuunin are really talented in hiding. It would be hard to find a enemy who know's their surrounding and are able to set traps that are deadlier than their abilities. These ninja can stall B and A rank ninja on their own but in their groups they can stall S and SS ranked shinobi.

D Ranked Jounin - These ninja are the weaker elite ninja. Don't underestimate them because of their rank. They are capable of beating shinobi above them if they have time to gather strategy. Underestimating these shinobi is fatal and can lead to them getting the upper hand. They're versed in many fields of jutsu and are skilled in combat. These ninja are usually used on scouting missions and are used to relay information back to command centers or the head shinobi's that are with them. By themselves an A ranked or S rank shinobi could be a fair fight for them. But with their team it's best that you avoid combat without your own team mates.

C Ranked Genin - These ninja are stronger than their D rank counter parts. These ninja are smarter and faster and react better. These ninja have learned a few more techniques and have added a "seceret weapon" to their arsenal. These ninja will trap you in a corner then attack you or will use advanced strategy to defeat you. Ninja who reach this rank are no joke but can be dealt with if handled correctly. These ninja are challenging matches for C ranked Chuunin and Jounin and can go toe to toe with B ranked Genin, Chuunin and Jounin. Don't underestimate them.

C Ranked Chuunin - These ninja are an interesting type. From their experiences they have gained a lot of knowledge and are able to use things they've learne in the past in order to get themselves out of a situation they have been in before. Be careful if you think you're going to catch these shinobi with an old trap. You have to be quick on your feet to deal with them because they might reverse it on you. These ninja are challenging matches for C ranked Jounin and Genin and can go toe to toe with B ranked Genin, Chuunin and Jounin. Don't even dare try to underestimate them. It could be fatal.

C ranked Jounin - These jounin are some of the hardest opponents to match with. They have a lot of experience and have even created some interesting jutsu. These jounin are unpredictable from time to time but still have patterns they resort back to. If it ain't broke don't fix it right? These ninja aren't something to joke around with. Trapping them can seem futile from time to time but eventually they end up falling for one. These ninja last well in combat and are challenging matches with C ranked Genin and Chuunin and can go toe to toe with B Ranked Genin, Chuunin and Jounin. Underestimating these ninja's means death. You can't afford to brush these ninja off.

B Ranked Genin, Chuunin, and Jounin - These ninja are their regular rank equivalent. The genin are ninja who are more than versed in a few jutsu and actually have a speciality. Some of these genin go on to be chuunin once they enter chuunin exams and such. They perform well on missions and do well in combat. They have surpassed their lower ranking genin's in strategy and can easily go toe to toe with A ranked ninja. The Chuunin have lead many missions and have even gained new jutsu. These ninja live for the ninja life. They have a long road ahead of them and work hard every day. They usually have two specialties. These ninja can go toe to to with A ranked ninja as well. The Jounin of this rank are versed in the three fields of combat (Ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu) and have mastered many jutsu. They're not to be taken lightly as they can go toe to toe with A ranked ninja on a short notice. These ninja have lead many missions and even gone on to lead A ranked missions as well. Their performance is nothing to laugh at nor is it something to take lightly.

A ranked Genin, Chuunin and Jounin - These ninja go above and beyond the call of duty. The genin are strong and have master jutsu's as well. These are the ninja who will some day lead the village. They are not to be taken lightly in combat. They can go toe to toe with S rank ninja and prove to be a match for the lower ranking ninja. Even jounin have trouble battling these ninja. They are versed in two fields of combat and are not to be taken lightly. The chuunin are versed in all three fields just like the jounin are. These ninja are usually the best of the best. They have completed many missions avoiding casualties on either side and even captured rouge ninja who may have defected and tried to ruin their missions. These ninja have created some powerful jutsu and have proved to be great ninja. They can go toe to toe with S rank Ninja. You may find some of these ninja to be ANBU material in the future. The jounin are better than most take them credit for. These jounin are very powerful and match S rank ninja easy. They are a great force to be delt with and not to be taken lightly. These ninja are versed in all three fields and have taken an extra field such as Kenjutsu or Fuinjutsu. They are usually the ninja you avoid in combat if you're not of their caliber. These ninja are surely ANBU material and hard to defeat in combat.

S Ranked Genin, Chuunin, and Jounin - These ninja are the toughest ninja in their ranks. They are the ninja who put the others to shame. The genin's are versed in all three fields and go toe to toe with SS ranked ninja. They have learned new jutsu and mastered them in no time even created variations of the jutsu's taking them to higher levels. These ninja are just astounding in their fields and pass the chuunin with flying colors. They have no problem in facing a jounin of a higher rank than them or even taking down a jounin in their rank division. These ninja can even end up on a BINGO BOOK. These are the genin that will lead the future of their villages. The Chuunin of this rank mastered all three fields of combat and have an extra field such as kenjutsu or fuinjutsu. These ninja go toe toe with SS rank ninja and are even stronger than they seem. They have no problem facing anyone and have no fears in combat. They can be arrogant sometimes but they can also be tricky. These ninja are the ninja who will end up taking the ninja world by storm. The jounin have mastered all three fields and have probably mastered two extra forms of combat. These ninja are going to become ANBU soon. They are the ninja who you call on if you want something done. They can go toe to toe with SS ninja and even protect the villages with no problem. They work well on leading team missions and even let the others get a chance to lead because they know if something goes wrong they can prevent it. These ninja are the true ninja of the world.

Hunter-Nin/A.N.B.U. - These are the tracker nin of their villages. These ninja are considered SS ranking Ninja's and can even be on par with a Kage. They are versed in all forms of combat having learned a skill in each possible form. Some are medical ninja as well who have mastered medical ninjutsu. These ninja track down missing nin who go astray. They usually never seen until the end of a battle involving the missing nin. They go to collect the scraps and destroy the body taking things back with them. it's a messy job but someone's gotta do it. Should you chose to face them then prepare for the battle of your life as they'll try and find a way to disassemble you.

SS Ranked Ninja - You will rarely see a genin, chuunin, or jounin in this category because they usually move up in ranks after reaching this stage. If you do see a genin or chuunin or jounin in this rank...watch out. They're strong enough to handle a Kage and could be the one to kill you. The best example of an SS ranked genin would be, that's right you guessed it NARUTO himself. The strongest genin in the world. He could go toe to toe with any ninja out there and was second to none. These ninja are nothing to laugh at. You fight them you should be prepared to kill or die. You even think of underestimating these ninja you'll watch your body drop before your head does. They go toe to toe with kage's who are the up most class.

Kage- These are the strongest ninja in their village. They've mastered jutsu, they've created jutsu, they've even saved the village a few times. Sometimes even by themselves. They're great and legendary ninja known through out the lands. Their names shake fear into the hearts of their enemies. They don't joke around and when it comes time to battle you best be on your guard. Ninja like Minato Namikaze are of this caliber.

Missing Ninja- Missing nin rank on a scale of D-SS just like the rest of the ninja. A D ranking missing nin is a petty thief. C ranking ninja are Common Thieves and have killed someone within their former village. B ranked missing nin are not only Thieves but have done a major crime in their village acting as an act of betrayal and are wanted dead or alive. A ranked missing nin may have attempted to take over their village and failed. These are the ninja who usually are tough to bring in. S ranked missing nin are ninja who have killed an important person in their village. SS ranked missing nin have either destroyed a village by themselves or with a group or have currently taken over a village. These ninja usually found organizations or villages of their own.

GOD MODDING using these ranks is simply not allowed. If you god mod and there is proven record of this, your character will either get the following choices:

If the user underestimates their opponent and god mods with
"Because I was a SS ranked Jounin and this was a D ranked genin, he would stand no chance aginst me. I would take my kunai and cut the genin down with blinding speed giving him no time to react."Stupid kid..you never stood a chance."

If you rp like that, you've underestimated your opponent and have earned the right to die now. The genin can now use a trap that will wound you fatally to the point where you can no longer fight or they can chose to kill you. If you don't comply with this you're free to leave.

You get one chance to change it and rephrase it without saying the users rank. This RP is not based off rank it's based off skill. A ranked Genin could kill a D ranked jounin and can go toe to toe with S ranked jounin. the only way you can use rank is if you're a Kage who is battling a D ranked genin from your village. Then you are allowed to train them. No d ranked genin should ever try to challenge their kage seriously for a spot. If you do the kage can do what ever they want to do with you.

As for other rules...

All jutsu are allowed on this site, but powerful jutsu like sage mode, mangekyou sharingan, eternal mangekyou sharingan, Flying thunder god, Madara's Space time ninjutsu, Chidori, Rasengan, Raikiri, Tsunade's seal, Reaper Death Seal...things like that and along that line(don't try to loophole cause if you do i'll be looking over it) cannot be started out with PERIOD. These jutsu have to be earned meaning you must work for them. For sage mode you must do training, Mangekyou you must kill your best friend or go through a tragic and painful loss, eternal you must steal an uchiha's sharingan, Flying thunder god you must research notes on Minato and recreate the jutsu, madara's space time ninjutsu you must study space/time theories and come up with a way to duplicate it, chidori you have to research the history of sasuke, rasengan you must research the history of naruto, raikiri you must research the history of Kakashi, Tsunade's Yin Seal release you must study medical ninjutsu and recreate the seal using Tsunade's method, Reaper Death Seal you must meet the reaper(meanin have a near death experience) and sign a contract with him and he will return you to the world of the living with one more chance. There are other jutsu but there will be more information on this. FILLER JUTSU ARE NOT ALLOWED HERE. Jutsu that you saw Naruto use in a movie like the Tatsumaki Rasengan cannot be used here UNLESS you create it. You can create filler jutsu but you cannot start out with them. This list is what you can start out with with the exceptions of the ones mentioned above and those that I deem unstartable with. Admins are no exceptions to these rules and must enforce them period. Reports on admins are a serious thing and will not be taken lightly. If you lie in a report on an admin you will be banned permenatly. If an admin fail to perform in their jobs first is a warning second is a removal from duties for a week then finally if they haven't learned after that or don't come back they'll be removed. If you say you quit don't come back 3 days later and expect to find your admin position waiting for you. Once you burn a bridge you can't cross it over.

Tailed beast rules. Here is how i'm going to do this. Tailed beast have been formed into Jubi but at the end of the war were turned back into the tailed beast. The tailed beast vanished in a random order. They will reappear like this

7 tailed
1 tailed
5 tailed
9 tailed
2 tailed
6 tailed
3 tailed
4 tailed
8 tailed

Once they reappear the villages will fight these tailed beast again. Some tailed beast will come LOOKING for a jinchuriki and you won't need to fight them. Others want revenge on being imprisioned and will seek to destroy your village(the nine tails is definatly hostile). In order to capture these beast only a ninja who specializes in Fuinjutsu must find a way to seal the beast in a container which i'll will allow each village to have in possession. If this container is stolen from your village you do not get another one. Once it is done you must seal the demon in the container and then the kage must chose who to seal it in. Based on that, there are two options. I will come OOCly and decide weather the new container lives or dies. If they die the tailed beast is released. If the beast was not hostile before it will become hostile. If they live then they will be put in the hospital and must recover. There will be a time skip in the plot later on down the line. During this time skip every ninja goes up a rank. SS ninja become more advanced and can learn another skill. The time skips are any where ranging from 1 to 5 days and will be random depending on how many people join the site.

Flaming is not allowed. If someone says something you don't have to put them down for it. Anyone who flames will be kicked instantly without warning. If they continue they'll be banned from chat box the rest of the day. If they try to get back in the chat box by trying to go around or having people send messages from them they will be banned and the person who sent the message will be kicked. Doesn't matter who started it both parties will be kicked and there'll be no complaining about it.

I'm going to allow children of the main characters in this. This is 50 years after the fourth shinobi war. Naruto and Sasuke are both dead. Naruto had one son and one daughter. These two make up the Uzumaki Clan. Sasuke has Two sons. These make up the new Uchiha clan. Anyone who wants to be naruto and sasuke's grand children must start at genin or chuunin rank and be age 7 to 13. All former Kages except for Kirigakure, Sunagakure, and Kumogakure are dead. You can be A's son or daugher, you can be Mizukage's son or daughter, and you can be gaara's son or daughter. Tsuchikage has died of old age so this position is open. If you are any of the kage's children you are now the current kage of that village and must be 20 years to 30 years. Hokage and Tsuchikage are NPC's. Leader of the Uchiha's new village are NPC as well. if you're an uchiha you must start in the Uchiha village unless you have a story explaining why and how you came to grow up in another village.

To gain ranks you must meet the requirements

D Ranked Genin = Graduated from acadamy
C Ranked Genin = Complete one C ranked mission and learn a C ranked Jutsu
B Ranked Genin = Must compete in Chuunin exams and make it to finals
A Ranked Genin = Completed one B and/or A ranked Mission and learned an A ranked Jutsu
S Ranked Genin = Must mastered Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu with three jutsu in each part
SS Ranked Genin = (RARE) Must have helped saved the village battling along side the Kage.

D Ranked Chuunin = Passed the Chuunin Exam
C Ranked Chuunin = Lead three successful C ranked mision
B Ranked Chuunin = Must master two field of jutsu having three jutsu in said field
A Ranked Chuunin = Must master three field of jutsu and have three jutsu in each field
S Ranked Chuunin = Must master an extra field and have three jutsu in said field
SS Ranked Chuunin = (RARE) Help defeat a Bijuu that attacks the village.

D Ranked Jounin = Lead a team of Genin on a D or C ranked Mission
C Ranked Jounin = Must master two fields of jutsu and have three jutsu in said fields
B Ranked Jounin = Must master all three fields and have three jutsu in each field
A Ranked Jounin = Must master an Extra field and have three jutsu in said field
S Ranked Jounin = Must master two extra fields and have three jutsu in said field
SS Ranked Jounin = (RARE) Must help take down a bijuu and seal said bijuu.

Hunter Nin = Mist only. You must be a S ranked Shinobi and pass the training given to you. They must prove their skill, silence, ability to kill quickly, and must have completed 3 S Ranked Mission

A.N.B.U. = Konoha, Sunagakure, Kirigakure, Kumogakure only. You must be S Ranked and pass the tests given. You must also have three S ranked missions

Blast Corps = Iwagakure only. You must gain the Kekkei Genkai Explosion Release and must train within the corps. You are selected and trained based on random chance that you are born with Explosion release.

Combat rules here have a frame of timing. You must react within that frame in order to avoid or coutner. The smaller the time the less you have to attack

Her is a demonstration.

Ninja A launches three kunai at his opponent then forms a hand sign sending his shadow to trap the opponent as they wait for them to dodge.

The time frame goes as this

Ninja A throws three shuriken
Ninja A forms handsigns
Ninja A uses shadow imitation

In order to defend successfully, you must couter all advances by the ninja. Her's a demonstration

Ninja B pulls out a kunai to block the three coming at them. The notice the user making hand signs and jumps into the air. They throw two kunai at their opponent to break their concentration.

The time frame goes like this

Ninja B blocks the kunai
Ninja B Jumps into the air
Ninja B throws kunai at the ninja using shadow imitation

The battle goes on until neither can fight or both give up. During this battle Ninja A would have to avoid the kunai or take the hit and hopefully capture the Ninja B in shadow possession

If you don't counter all advances you get hit. If the user counters in between your advances such as mine did you have to respond to those coutners and the user must take the hit. So if you throw kunai at me and then throw a bomb ball at me. I chose to block the kunai but i throw more of my own. I have to take the bomb blast while you defend from the kunai because i chose to ignore the bomb blast. Everything has a timing. If you have any questions call an admin and they'll be with you to help you.

Kage are given special treatment here. They get to add people to their groups. They get to have a little admin power but only towards their village members. If you offend a kage ICly they can kick you out of their village. This means if you try to attack them and you fail, you will instantly become a missing nin. There is no "i was just playing around or no Haha just kidding" you will be marked missing and they can try to KILL YOU. If you have a private RP going on and you do it inside the village gates. AN NPC WILL HEAR YOU. If your out in town and you have private and you're with your buddy like

"Yeah lets gang up on the hokage."
"Ok let's do it tomorrow"

An NPC will hear you and can report to a kage(This means if the kage is watching you post this inside their village they can kick you out and rp you missing and attack you on site.) Location matters inside your RP. Set the mood vividly. Give distances give things like that. Metric and US are allowed but if someone uses US please convert for them. If you can't convert DON'T USE METRIC and try to be a douche and fool them. entering a nice round number like 10 for meters could be 1.345 sumthing in yards so don't forget that.
